Youth or Disability Support Workers

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients in regular, one-on-one sessions

• Assist in the development and implementation of personalised support programs

• Facilitate life skill development and recreational activities aimed at building confidence and resilience

• Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress made by clients

Requirements:

• Working With Children Check

• NDIS Worker Screening

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and registered/insured motor vehicle

• First Aid & CPR Certificate

• RRHAN Training

• Child Safe Environments Training

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Empathy, patience, and the ability to establish rapport with youth from diverse backgrounds

• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the evolving needs of youth

• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards

Experience in youth work, community or disability services, social work, or similar is not essential but is highly preferred.
